  1. Lovely video, Julia. Wow, the tide was a long way out in this one. Changes the whole landscape.

I like that faint tinge of pink in the cloudy sky. (Is it really there? Or do I need new reading glasses? ;~)

Have a lovely (white) Christmas weekend with your family! Stay warm in those three inches of snow. . . .

    ~ Milli

  2. Have a very Merry Christmas, Julia! I hope your family have a wonderful time together!

  5. Lovely! It’s nice to see the sand around the sand bar – I don’t normally see that. These videos have been lovely Julia – although I arrived at them late – around September I think, so am looking forward to your vids next year. Have a wonderful Christmas with your family x x

  6. There is extra sand bar today!
Happy Holidays! Have a lovely weekend :)

Hope you had a great Christmas. Who were those people in the canoe/boat? It looked pretty, but pretty cold too.

  11. Milli, Yes! There was a faint tinge of pink — we tried to get the sunset to no avail, but the pink showed through — nice catch! As for the snow? Gone again after rain last night, WEIRD!

Ashlee, We had a lovely Christmas (as evidenced by the late response) and I hope you did too!

Ann, Thank you for YOUR friendship — and I’m so happy to have you as such a loyal reader! 2012 here we come, and who knows what excitement awaits us!

Leah, It’s been wonderful to get to know you as well! Happy New Year!

Christine, I’m so happy to have brought you the coast of Maine! I’m looking forward to seeing what next year brings, too — now, I better make some plans!! Happy New Year!

Jamie, We did have a good Christmas! Hope you did too! The people in the canoe were hunters as it turned out…. which we realized as they had their guns pointed straight toward us when they dragged the canoe out of the water… YIKES!
